This is one of the simplest ways to help out our cause. We believe the best way for us to be successful is for the community to actively get involved. Each volunteer helps us take one more step toward make the Jacksonville Public Library the best it has ever been!

 

We encourage our volunteers to earn "bright future" credits by working in our bookstore when it is open!

All About Our Volunteers

Our Volunteers worked more than 8603 hours in 2023! Some of their tasks included:

  • Sorting books to get ready for sales

  • Working Book Sales

  • Working the Book Store during the week

  • And Advocating for the Library
