FJPL, a non-profit organization, was founded June 15, 1956. Our mission is to provide leadership, motivation and support to the Jacksonville Public Library, to literacy and educational groups, to all existing and potential Friends groups, and other library support groups to enable them to succeed in their efforts to preserve and strengthen libraries and to create awareness and appreciation of Library services.

 

To this end, FJPL manages the Bookstore where you can shop weekly year-round for great book bargains.  The Bookstore also holds Big Bag Sales several times a year.  For our location and hours of operations click here.
